Patna: In a landmark moment for cricket in Bihar, the Bihar T10 League, a tennis ball cricket league affiliated with Indian Street Premier League was officially launched today at a glittering ceremony at Hotel Maurya, Patna attended by distinguished dignitaries, franchise owners and cricket enthusiasts from across the state.
The event marked the beginning of a new era for grassroots cricket in Bihar, bringing a professional, city-based franchise league model to one of India’s most passionate cricketing audiences.
The launch ceremony was presided over by Chief Guest, Sports and Industries Minister of Bihar, Shreyasi Singh — a celebrated athlete and tireless champion of sports development in the state. Her presence underscored the government’s unwavering commitment to nurturing sporting talent across Bihar.
Adding to the occasion’s distinction, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) & the League Ambassador, Manoj Tiwari joined as Guest of Honour — lending his celebrated stature and deep passion for cricket to give the league a powerful and inspiring identity from day one.
The highlight of the evening was the grand unveiling of the Bihar T10 League’s official Logo and Mascot. Both dignitaries extended their best wishes to the league and expressed confidence in its ability to unearth extraordinary cricketing talent from every corner of Bihar.
The official Bihar T10 League website was also launched at the event, opening the gateway for aspiring cricketers from across Bihar to register themselves and compete for a place in the league.

Online registration open: May 11 to May 31
District-level trials: June 1 to June 20
Players auction: June 28
League commences: July 5
All registered players will be invited to district-level trial centres spread across 8 districts of Bihar, where they will be evaluated and rated by qualified selectors. Post-trials, rated players will enter the Bihar T10 League Player Auction, where franchise owners will build their squads — giving every talented cricketer a genuine shot at professional cricket and compete in in the league in an action packed, fast paced cricket format at the Urja Stadium, Patna.
