Bhojpur U-19 cricket team

Patna: In the quarter-final of the BCA Randhir Verma Under-19 One-Day Trophy 2025–26, organised by the Bihar Cricket Association, Bhojpur defeated Araria by six wickets to secure a place in the semi-finals. The match was played at the SSCC Ground, Pawapuri Mor (Nalanda).
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Araria were bowled out for 228 runs in 48.3 overs. Aman Raj top-scored with 43 off 46 balls, while Krish Kumar contributed 42 runs. Akshay Kumar Bishwas added 29, and Ujjwal Raj chipped in with 20 to take the total forward.
For Bhojpur, Mohit Kumar impressed with the ball, claiming four wickets for 43 runs in his 10 overs. Aditya Prakash and Ashwini Kumar picked up two wickets each, while Archit and Shivansh took one apiece.
Chasing a target of 229, Bhojpur reached 229 for four in 34.1 overs to seal victory comfortably. Ritwij Raj Singh starred with a superb 118 off 92 balls, including 16 fours and four sixes. Ashwini Arun Kumar remained unbeaten on 54 from 47 balls, while Arun Singh contributed 20 runs.
For Araria, Shivam Kumar Jha claimed three wickets for 53 runs in 6.1 overs, while Akshay Kumar Bishwas picked up one wicket.
With this win, the Bhojpur District Cricket Association team has advanced to the semi-finals, strengthening its position for the upcoming matches.
