Patna, June 16: The first Bihar Women’s Kabaddi League 2024, held from June 10 to June 16 at Patliputra Indoor Stadium, witnessed an intense battle as Siwan Titans emerged victorious in the first qualifier match against Saran Strikers on Saturday evening, winning 20-18 and becoming the first team to reach the final.
Ashika Shandilya of Siwan Titans was declared the best raider with 4 raid points, while her teammate Mani Kumari was named the best defender with 6 tackle points. Saran Strikers still have a chance to reach the final as they will play another match against the winner of the first eliminator match.
In the first eliminator round match held yesterday, Patna Pelicans defeated Nalanda Ninjas 26-14, earning another chance to reach the final.
