Patna: Newly appointed Patna Divisional Commissioner, Mayank Warwade, has said that matters concerning public interest will be given the highest priority. He assured that the functioning of all districts under the Patna division—Patna, Nalanda, Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas and Kaimur—will be closely monitored and reviewed in a systematic manner.
He emphasised that the government’s developmental and welfare schemes would be implemented efficiently and without delay. Warwade made these remarks while addressing officials after formally taking charge from outgoing Commissioner Animesh Kumar Parashar at the divisional commissioner’s office.
Following the handover, Warwade interacted with officers and staff posted at the office and familiarised himself with the team.
Outgoing Commissioner Parashar expressed gratitude to the officers and employees, stating that they had worked effectively with a strong sense of teamwork during his tenure. In turn, the staff thanked him for strengthening the work culture of the office and for his inspiring leadership.
Warwade expressed satisfaction with the work culture across all districts in the division, noting that officials and staff have been performing well as a team. He said that all responsibilities would be carried out promptly in accordance with government directives.
He further directed officials to remain committed and proactive to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach the intended beneficiaries. Special attention, he said, would be given to key areas such as the Saat Nischay programme, law and order, public grievance redressal, and disaster management.
Outlining immediate priorities, Warwade said that the successful implementation of the state government’s Saat Nischay-3 programme would be among the top concerns. As part of this initiative, cooperation camps will be organised regularly to provide timely and quality solutions to public grievances.

In line with the Chief Minister’s vision under the seventh resolve of Saat Nischay-3—“Sabka Samman, Jeevan Aasaan” (Ease of Living)—these camps will be held at the panchayat level from May 19, on the first and third Tuesdays of every month. Issues related to ration, pension, housing, MGNREGA, land disputes, mutation, health, education, electricity, drinking water, roads, and other government schemes will be addressed promptly, with written communication provided to applicants.
He added that complaints will be resolved within 30 days of registration and updates will be made available on the Sahyog portal. District officials have been instructed to closely monitor this process and ensure strict compliance with government guidelines. Regular interaction with the public to gather feedback has also been mandated.
Warwade stressed that there would be no compromise on maintaining law and order. He highlighted the need for transparency and accountability in administration, urging officials to work with strong coordination and meaningful communication to address public concerns with sensitivity.
