Patna: In the second match of the Women’s Senior T-20 Trophy held at the Sports Hub International Cricket Stadium, Trivandrum, Bihar triumphed over Rajasthan by five runs, marking their second consecutive victory. Bihar will face Assam next on 22nd October.
Rajasthan won the toss and chose to field, restricting Bihar to 96 runs for six wickets in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, Rajasthan were bowled out for 91 runs in their 20 overs.
For Bihar, Preeti top-scored with 34 runs, supported by Arya’s 21 runs and Nikki’s 11. Komal remained unbeaten with 4 runs. Rajasthan’s SS Kalal claimed two wickets, while SL Meena took one.
Despite a valiant effort from BN Meena (28 runs) and SL Meena (32 runs), no other Rajasthan player reached double figures. Bihar’s Apoorva shone with the ball, taking three wickets, while Arya and Apoorva claimed two each, and Rachna Singh took one.
