Jamui, June 5: After two consecutive defeats, Bhagalpur defeated Lakhisarai by 5 wickets in the Angika Zone of the Shyamal Sinha Inter District Under-16 Cricket Tournament.
In the match held at the local Sri Krishna Stadium, Lakhisarai won the toss and elected to bat first, scoring 194 runs in 40 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Key contributions came from Nilesh (48), Abir (34), and Sanjay (21). Bhagalpur’s Viraj was the standout bowler, taking 4 wickets, while Aarav claimed 2 wickets and Khalid and Aditya took 1 wicket each.
