Purnia earned three points based on their first innings lead, while Rest of Patliputra received one point. Rest of Patliputra won the toss and opted to field first.
Purnia posted a total of 248 runs in their first innings. Key contributions came from Vedant Vats with 60 runs, Sumit Pal with 52 runs, and Mausam Sharma with 49 runs.
