Patna: A Kabaddi tournament was organised on Thursday to mark National Sports Day at Dev Kabaddi Academy, Devnagari (Nathupur, Dumri, Fatuha), under the aegis of the Bihar State Janata Dal (United) Art, Culture, and Sports Cell. The Barh Subdivision Kabaddi Team emerged victorious.
In the men’s category final, the Barh Subdivision Kabaddi Team defeated the Dev Kabaddi Team with a close score of 31-29.
Earlier in the tournament, the Dev Kabaddi Academy secured a win over Pataliputra Kabaddi Academy with a score of 35-31, while the Barh Subdivision Kabaddi Team triumphed over the Danapur Subdivision Kabaddi Team with a score of 39-25.
The players were honoured by Kumar Vijay Singh, the State President of the Janata Dal (U) Art, Culture, and Sports Cell, Bihar, and Rana Uday Singh, the Vice President of Barh District Janata Dal (U). Several dignitaries, including Rana Ranjit Singh and Subhash Prasad, were present on the occasion.
