Patna: Assam triumphed over Bihar by six wickets in the third match of the Women’s Senior T-20 Trophy, held at the KCA Ground in Mangalapuram. After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Bihar posted 124 runs for the loss of three wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In response, Assam chased down the target with 126 runs for four wickets in 16.2 overs, securing victory by six wickets.
For Bihar, Preeti led the charge with an impressive 56 runs, while Apoorva Kumari contributed 17 runs and Yashita added 47. Harshita remained unbeaten on 2 runs. Assam’s Monica claimed one wicket, with two Bihar players being run out.
In Assam’s reply, Monica top-scored with 45 runs, while Gayatri added 28, Khushi scored 4, and Maina was dismissed without scoring. Priyanka remained unbeaten on 23 runs, and Rashmi finished unbeaten with 21. Apoorva Kumari took one wicket for Bihar, while three Assam players were run out.
Bihar’s next match will be against Delhi on 24th October.
