Patna: A 20-member senior men’s team from Hockey Bihar departed for Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to compete in the 14th Hockey India Senior Men’s National Hockey Championship 2024, scheduled from 4 to 15 November. Hockey Bihar has been grouped with teams from Manipur, Assam, and Bengal. Bihar will face Manipur in their opening group match on 4 November.
Hockey Bihar President and Bihar’s Rural Development Minister, Shrawan Kumar, conveyed his best wishes to the players, urging them to play with dedication and maintain discipline. Officials from Hockey Bihar also extended their good wishes to the team.
