Patna: AK Cricket Academy and High Performance Cricket Academy (HPCA) both secured convincing victories in the Abhishek Memorial Under-16 Inter-School Cricket Tournament on Thursday at the Bihar Cricket Academy Ground, La Martiniere World School. AK Cricket Academy triumphed over BPCA Blaster by 4 wickets, while HPCA defeated Lakshya Cricket Academy by nine wickets.
In the opening match, BPCA Blaster won the toss and opted to bat, posting a total of 90 runs before being bowled out in 15.5 overs. AK Cricket Academy chased down the target with ease, scoring 91 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in just 8.3 overs. Manjeet Kumar was named Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling performance, taking 4 wickets for only 4 runs.
The second match saw Lakshya Cricket Academy also winning the toss and choosing to bat.
