Patna: The selection trials for the 37th Sub Junior and 42nd Junior National Softball Championships will take place on September 8 at 9 a.m. across two grounds in Sonepur. Players for the boys’ and girls’ teams will be chosen during these trials.
The selected players will represent Bihar in the upcoming Junior National Softball Championship, scheduled in Andhra Pradesh from October 6 to 10, and the Sub Junior National Softball Championship, to be held in Jammu from November 8 to 12.
Providing details about the trials, Prachi Sharma, General Secretary of the Softball Association of Bihar, stated that the junior category selectors will be Pramod Kumar, Monu Kumar, and Varsha Sagar, while Bipin Kumar, Deepa Kumari, and Sanjeet Kumar will serve as selectors for the sub junior category.
Rupak Kumar, Joint Secretary of the Softball Association of Bihar, has been entrusted with overseeing the entire selection process.
