Patna: At the 15th Dhyanchand Memorial Ball Badminton Tournament, hosted at Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhavan’s court in Patna, the boys’ semi-finals delivered intense competition. In the first match, Kilkari Patna edged out Mahant Hanuman Sharan Vidyalaya in a closely contested battle, winning 35-30, 35-29. The second semi-final saw Kilkari Gaya overpower Miller School with a decisive 35-14, 35-16 victory, earning their place in the final.
In the girls’ category, PN Anglo School claimed victory over Gardanibagh Girls’ School in a tough three-set match, finishing with scores of 35-11, 33-35, 35-15. Kilkari Patna also secured their spot in the finals by defeating Ravindra Girls’ School 35-18, 35-19 in the second semi-final.
Key players in the boys’ matches included Shubham, Ravi, and Ritesh from Mahant Hanuman Sharan School; Suraj, Gaurav, and Aditya from Kilkari Patna; Ranjit, Vishal, and Krishnamohan from Miller School; and Raunak, Aniket, and Mukesh from Kilkari Gaya. In the girls’ semi-finals, standout performances came from Roshni, Swati, and Kanchan of PN Anglo School; Saloni, Ananya, and Anjali of Gardanibagh Girls’ School; Divya, Harshita, and Khushi of Kilkari Patna; and Ananya, Mansi, and Preeti of Ravindra Girls’ School.
