Patna, June 23, 2024 – The selection trials for the formation of the Hockey Bihar team for the 2nd Hockey India Junior and Sub-Junior East Zone Women’s Hockey Championship will be held on June 26 at +2 Balika Uchch Vidyalaya, Shastri Nagar, Patna.
The Junior East Zone Women’s Hockey Championship is scheduled from July 14 to July 21, 2024, in Kolkata, while the Sub-Junior East Zone Men’s Championship is set to take place from July 24 to July 31, 2024, in Guwahati, Assam.
Players from Bihar state with a date of birth on or after January 1, 2006, for the Junior category and on or after January 1, 2009, for the Sub-Junior category are eligible to participate in the trials. Participants must bring a certificate issued by the local body (Panchayat/Municipal Corporation), Aadhar Card, School Bonafide Certificate, and Birth Certificate. Additionally, the Hockey India Registration Form and Age Estimation Form (Medical) will be required, either provided in advance or brought in original by the players.
For the selection trials, all participating players are to report to Manoj Kumar and Aparajita Kumari at +2 Balika Uchch Vidyalaya, Shastri Nagar, Patna, on June 26 at 6:30 am.
A five-member selection committee has been formed for these trials, consisting of Mini Kumari (NIS), Amar Kumar Bharti (NIS), Tulsi Kumari (NIS), Navneet Kaur (NIS), and Anubha Singh.
