The spiritual drama ‘Hanuman Ansh’ continued its remarkable box office run on its 29th day, earning an estimated Rs 10 crore net in India. This collection has propelled the film’s India gross total to Rs 97.99 crore, bringing it within striking distance of the Rs 100 crore milestone .
The Vishal Chaturvedi directorial, made on a reported budget of under Rs 2 crore, has now earned more than 50 times its initial investment . The film’s earnings on its fifth Friday mark the highest fifth-weekend day collection for a film in Hindi cinema, surpassing the previous record of Rs 8.50 crore set by ‘Dhurandhar’ .
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ collected Rs 10 crore across 5,055 shows on Day 29, recording an overall occupancy of 47% . The film’s day-wise performance showed morning shows at 25.62% occupancy, afternoon at 62.00%, and evening screenings reaching a high of 64.23% .
The film experienced a significant surge in its fourth week, which contributed approximately Rs 61.00 crore net to its total collection . This followed a modest opening where the film collected only Rs 1.08 crore in its first week and Rs 40 lakhs in its second week .
Trade analysts attribute the film’s success to strong word-of-mouth publicity and sustained audience interest. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted that the film’s late growth points strongly towards word of mouth, stating that ‘the fact that the collections have risen after the third week is an eye-opener for the industry’ .
The film, which opened with just 355 shows, has witnessed a substantial increase in screenings, with the number crossing 5,000 shows . ‘Hanuman Ansh’, based on the life and teachings of spiritual leader Neem Karoli Baba, features Shobhinaw Satyaa in the lead role, with Chandan Anand also part of the cast .
Industry experts have labeled ‘Hanuman Ansh’ as one of the most profitable films of 2026, with its budget-to-box office ratio making it a historic theatrical blockbuster . The film, which was released on August 7, 2026, is now set to expand internationally with a global release scheduled for September 11 .
With its India net collection reaching Rs 82.88 crore, the film is projected to cross the Rs 100 crore gross mark in the coming days .
