Cyber Hygiene Model UN 2026 Concludes at St Karen’s High School in Patna on September 1, 2026.
Patna: The Cyber Hygiene Model United Nations (CHMUN) 2026 was successfully held on August 31 and September 1 2026 at St. Karen’s High School, Patna, organised by C-DAC Patna in collaboration with ISEA, CERT-In, and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Mr. Chandra Prakash, SP Cyber Crime, Bihar, as the Chief Guest, and Prof. Somnath Tripathy from IIT Patna as the Guest of Honour, alongside dignitaries from CERT-In, C-DAC, and academia. Principal Mrs. Seema Singh formally welcomed the dignitaries and delegates, following which proceedings opened with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and cultural performances on the theme “One Voice, One World.”
Delegates representing various nations participated in UNGA, UNHRC, and International Press committees, engaging in debates, caucuses, and negotiations on cybersecurity, digital ethics, and global cooperation.
Day two featured resolution presentations, amendments, voting, and committee summaries, with awards presented across five categories: Best Delegation, Best Delegate, Special Mention, Best Speaker, and Best Position Paper. The Chief Guest for the second day was Shri Abhinav Dixit, Scientist-G and Centre Head, C-DAC Patna.
The conference concluded with a choral performance symbolising peace and unity, followed by the Vote of Thanks delivered by Vice-Principal Mr Sanjay Joseph and CHMUN-2026 secretary Ms. Angela Anthony.
“The future may be digital, but the values that shape it remain human” — resonated as the core takeaway of this year’s Cyber Hygiene CHMUN.

Best Journalist: Shiny Sinha, Journalist-1, from Millennium High School. Best Photographer: Nikhil Sharma, Photographer-1, from The Tribhuvan School. UNGA & UNHRC — Combined Best Position Paper: Shaswat Shyam, representing India in UNHRC, from PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya.
