Patna: The Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) had issued a notice on its official website on August 14, 2026, inviting players who had previously represented Bihar at the BCCI or state level but were unable to participate in the current BCA domestic league for various reasons to take part in selection trials.
Following the notice, a total of 42 applications were received by 5pm on August 17, 2026. After examining the applications and relevant records, the committee found 22 players eligible to participate in the selection trials.

All eligible players have been instructed to report at the Moinul Haq Stadium in Patna at 9am on August 21, 2026, as per the scheduled programme for the selection trials.
The Bihar Cricket Association selected the eligible players after examining their applications and available records. The selection trials will be used to assess the players’ talent and performance.
