Patna: Janata Dal (United) leader Nishant Kumar convened an important meeting with state spokespersons at the JD(U) state office, where he called upon party members to collectively work towards fulfilling the vision of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Addressing the gathering, he emphasised that the primary objective of the party is to take the developmental initiatives of Nitish Kumar to every section of society and to complete the unfinished tasks.
Nishant Kumar highlighted that just as Nitish Kumar has worked inclusively by bringing together all sections of society—Dalits, backward classes, extremely backward classes, and minorities—and has introduced welfare schemes for their upliftment, party members must continue to ensure holistic development and promote self-reliance among all communities.

Referring to Ram Manohar Lohia’s concept of ‘Sapta Kranti’, he noted that Lohia advocated equality in society, particularly emphasising equal rights for women. He urged party workers to build a society free from discrimination, in line with these ideals.
Among those present at the meeting were Legislative Council Chief Whip Sanjay Kumar alias Gandhi Ji, MLC and Chief State Spokesperson Neeraj Kumar, state spokesperson Dr Nihora Prasad Yadav, Media Cell founding president Dr Amardeep, Arvind Nishad, Anjum Ara, Naval Sharma, Himraj Ram, Parimal Kumar, Dr Anupriya Yadav, Dr Jitendra Kumar, Manish Yadav, Ajit Patel and Vasudev Kushwaha.
