Patna, June 12: Team A and Team C emerged victorious in their respective matches on Wednesday in the BCA Under-15 Women’s One Day Trophy. Team A triumphed over Team B by 77 runs, while Team C narrowly defeated Team D by 8 runs. Notable performances included half-centuries from Saloni Kumari (50 runs) and Riya Singh (65 runs) of Team A, Deepa (61 runs) of Team B, and Prachi Singh (57 runs) of Team C.
With these victories, Team A and Team C advanced to the finals of the tournament. Among the four participating teams, Team A secured its place in the final by winning all its matches and topping the points table.
Teams B, C, and D each won one match out of four, accumulating 3 points each. However, Team C advanced to the final due to a superior net run rate of -1.305. Team B and Team D had net run rates of -1.351 and -1.348, respectively.
Team A Outplays Team B
In the match held at Moinul Haq Stadium, Team A won the toss and opted to bat first, scoring 242 runs for 8 wickets in 35 overs.
