Patna: Satyam Prakash, a trainee of Naseeb Sports Academy in Patna, won the Boys Under-16 title at the All India Under-16 Ranking Tennis Championship held at SDS Tennis Academy, Lucknow. In a hard-fought final, Satyam Prakash defeated Anirudh Kumar of UP with a score of 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.
Satyam’s journey to the title was marked by impressive victories. In the first round, he overcame Sandhya Dwivedi (UP) with a score of 1-6, 6-2, 6-4. In the pre-quarterfinals, Satyam triumphed over Aarav Gupta (Maharashtra) with a score of 7-6(7-1), 6-1. The quarterfinals saw Satyam defeating Rohan Raj (UP) with a score of 6-3, 4-6, 6-2. In the semifinals, Satyam dominated Vaibhav Saroj (UP) with a convincing score of 6-0, 6-2.
