Patna: The 14th Hockey Bihar Senior Men’s State Championship 2024, organised by Hockey Patna, is taking place at the BRC ground in Danapur. Here are the results from the matches held on 21st October:
Match Results:
Match 1:
Rohtas dominated Purnia, winning 5-1. Rohtas’ captain, Vivekananda, showcased a brilliant performance, scoring all five goals for his team, while Pratik Tudu scored Purnia’s only goal.
Match 2:
East Champaran defeated Begusarai with a convincing 6-0 victory. Satyam Pandey scored a hat-trick, while Amritanshu, Suraj, and Gogan Kumar each contributed one goal.
Match 3:
Bhojpur claimed a 4-0 win over Samastipur. Harshit Kumar netted two goals, with Naveen Kumar and Rehan Iqbal each scoring one to seal the victory.
Match 4:
Saharsa narrowly overcame Siwan in a 3-2 thriller. Siwan’s Suraj Gond scored first, but Saharsa’s Neeraj Kumar equalised, followed by goals from Sonu Kumar and another from Neeraj to make it 3-1. Siwan’s captain, Ashish Shandilya, scored in the final minute, but Saharsa held on for the win.
