Patna: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Bihar government has transferred and posted a large number of officials across various departments. A total of 225 officials have been transferred in seven departments including Transport, Labor Resources, Social Welfare, Industry, Rural Works, Minor Water Resources, and Mines and Geology. The notification regarding these transfers has been issued.
The Labor Resources Department has seen the transfer of 51 officers. Key appointments include Aditya Rajhans as Additional Labour Commissioner, Arun Kumar Srivastava as Joint Labour Commissioner Workers Welfare Board, Kavita Kumari and Vijay Kumar as Joint Labour Commissioners Patna, Rajesh Kumar as Deputy Labour Commissioner Dashrath Manjhi Institute, Rohit Raj Singh as Deputy Labour Commissioner of Bihar Bhawan and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, and Akbar Javed Azad as Deputy Labour Commissioner Patna.
In the Transport Department, 12 Additional District Transport Officers have been reassigned. Notable transfers include Upendra Rao to Darbhanga, Archana Kumari to Siwan, Vinod Kumar to Patna, Sanjeev Kumar Singh to Katihar, Sanjay Kumar to Bhagalpur, Santosh Kumar Singh to Aurangabad, Ranji Kumar to Nalanda, Divya Prakash to Bhojpur, and Suleman Alam as Additional District Transport Officer.
The Social Welfare Department has transferred 98 Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs) working in Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS). The Industry Department has seen the transfer of 23 third and fourth category employees, including 19 Industry Extension Officers and Economic Investigators. Industry Extension Officers Ravish Kumar and Gulshan Kumar Rai have been appointed to the SIPB cell at Patna headquarters.
Additionally, the Mines and Geology Department has transferred one Assistant Director along with four Mineral Development Officers. The Rural Works Department has transferred 35 junior engineers, and the Minor Water Resources Department has reassigned junior, assistant, executive, and superintending engineers. Furthermore, 97 doctors from various districts, all medical officers of the Bihar Health Services cadre, have also been transferred.
