Jamui, June 8: In a thrilling match held on Saturday under the Angika Zone of the Shyamal Sinha Inter District Under-16 Cricket Tournament at Sri Krishna Stadium, Jamui defeated Banka by 18 runs.
Winning the toss, Jamui chose to bat first and scored 150 runs, losing all their wickets in 39.1 overs. Key contributions came from Rituraj, who remained unbeaten on 39, Nishu Yadav with 34 runs, and Arnav with 15 runs. Banka’s bowlers Abhijeet and Anuj each took 2 wickets, while Santosh, Gaurav, and Prince claimed one wicket each.
