Patna: A 20-member women’s team from Hockey Bihar departed for Ranchi, Jharkhand, on Sunday to participate in the 14th Hockey India Junior Women’s National Championship 2024. The tournament is scheduled to take place from 20th September to 12th October in Ranchi.
Hockey Bihar is grouped with teams from Odisha and Bengal, with their first match against Odisha on 2nd October. Shravan Kumar, President of Hockey Bihar and Bihar’s Rural Development Minister, extended his best wishes to the players, urging them to play with dedication and discipline.
