CAB Storm into Final with Dominant Win Over Jaguar Cricket Academy

Patna: The Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) secured their spot in the final of the Akhilesh Memorial Under-13 Cricket Tournament with a convincing nine-wicket victory over Jaguar Cricket Academy at the CAB ground on Friday.

After winning the toss, Jaguar Cricket Academy elected to bat first and posted a total of 140 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 25 overs. Kanis top-scored with 27 runs, supported by Prithvi (25) and Rakesh (19). CAB’s bowlers kept the opposition in check, with Shivam Samrat delivering a standout performance, claiming 3 wickets for 27 runs. Aman and Shaukat Ali contributed with figures of 2/22 and 1/25, respectively.

In reply, CAB chased down the target in just 20 overs, losing only one wicket. Shivam Samrat shone with the bat as well, scoring an unbeaten 44 runs. Rishit added 29 runs, while Anit contributed 25 to seal the victory.

The players were encouraged by the presence of Reserve Bank of India (Patna) General Manager Prabhat Kumar, Manager Rajiv Ranjan, and Ranji cricketer Kamlesh Singh. Shivam Samrat was deservedly named Player of the Match for his exceptional all-round performance.
