Bihar’s Young Cricket Sensation, 13-Year-Old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Joins India U-19 Squad for Asia Cup

Patna: In a proud moment for Bihar cricket, 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been selected to represent the Indian Under-19 team in the ACC Under-19 Asia Cup 2024, scheduled to take place in the UAE from 29 November. This young talent, known for his exceptional skill and cricketing acumen, will soon showcase his abilities on an international platform, further enhancing Bihar’s reputation in Indian cricket.

Bihar Cricket Association President Rakesh Tiwari expressed his pride and delight at Vaibhav’s selection, calling him “a natural talent with remarkable potential.” Tiwari highlighted Vaibhav’s achievements, noting that the young cricketer has already set multiple records while playing in the prestigious Ranji Trophy. Vaibhav’s latest milestone includes a brilliant century against the Australia Under-19 team, a feat that further established his position as a promising player for India. Tiwari added, “On behalf of the Bihar Cricket Association, we extend our best wishes to Vaibhav for a successful journey ahead.”

Vaibhav’s early entry into cricket history is noteworthy, as he is the youngest player to debut in the Ranji Trophy – an impressive achievement at just 13 years old.
