Patna: In an important boys’ league match of the 43rd Sub Junior National Ball Badminton Championship held in Rohtak, Haryana, Bihar triumphed over Delhi with a convincing scoreline of 35-17, 35-21. In another hard-fought boys’ league match, Bihar defeated the formidable Kerala team 33-35, 39-38, 35-30, securing their place in the quarterfinals.
In the girls’ category, Bihar registered a dominant win against Madhya Pradesh, sweeping the match 35-13, 35-10.
According to Gouri Shankar, Secretary of the Bihar Ball Badminton Association, standout performances in the boys’ category came from Naitik, Anshu, Saurav, Gaurav, and Lalan, while in the girls’ category, Harshita, Shibu Kumari, and Muskan Kumari showcased excellent skills.
