Bihar Cricket Academy Clinch Abhishek Memorial Under-16 Inter-School Cricket Tournament Title

Patna: In an impressive display of skill, Bihar Cricket Academy clinched the title at the Abhishek Memorial Under-16 Inter-School Cricket Tournament, defeating High Performance Cricket Academy by 79 runs in the final held at La Martiniere World School.

After winning the toss, Bihar Cricket Academy chose to bat first, amassing a strong total of 262 runs for seven wickets in 25 overs, driven by Roshan’s remarkable 103-run innings. In response, High Performance Cricket Academy struggled, ultimately bowled out for 183 runs in 23.2 overs. Top scorers included Sanskar Prabhakar with 28 runs and Yuvraj with 26.

For his all-round performance of 48 runs and three wickets, Aryaman from Bihar Cricket Academy was awarded Player of the Match, a recognition sponsored by Rize Coaching IIT. The awards ceremony saw honours presented by notable guests including Patna Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Reshmi Chandravanshi, BJP leader and social worker Shishir Kumar, Bihar Cricket Association’s media manager Santosh Jha, Sampatchak Municipal Council President Amit Kumar, Ward Councillor Munna Jaiswal, La Martiniere School’s Vice Principal Ram Babu Singh, Ward Councillor Ashish Chandra Yadav, Deltic Motor’s Chandan, and Shri Rajput Karni Sena’s Himanshu Hari.

Umpires Prince Kumar and Aryan Kumar, scorers Ravi Kumar and Piyush Kumar, and ground staff Shivam Kumar, Prakash Kumar, and Siddhant Kumar were also honoured for their contributions.

Individual awards included Aryaman for Man of the Tournament, Roshan for Best Batsman, Mohammad Saliku for Best Bowler, Ravi Shankar for Best Fielder, and Devraj for Best Keeper. The ceremony was expertly hosted by cricket commentator Mrityunjay Jha, with a welcome address by Sardar Patel Sports Foundation’s Founder Secretary Santosh Tiwari.
