Patna: YCC defeated Gennex Cricket Academy by five wickets in the Chandramani Prasad Singh Memorial Under-14 Cricket Tournament held at the Bihar Cricket Academy ground on Monday, 16 December.
After winning the toss, Gennex Cricket Academy opted to bat first and posted a total of 153 runs in 23 overs, with Agastya scoring a solid 50. YCC’s bowlers shone, with Manoj Sinha, Pawan Yadav, and Nitin Kumar each taking three wickets.
In response, YCC chased down the target, scoring 154 runs for the loss of five wickets in 22.1 overs. Nitin Kumar led the charge with a brilliant 61-run innings, while Vivek from Gennex claimed three wickets.
Nitin’s all-round performance earned him the Player of the Match award.
