Patna: In the Abhishek Memorial Under-16 Inter-School Cricket Tournament, YCC and SCA XI emerged victorious in their respective matches on Sunday, advancing to the quarterfinals. YCC narrowly defeated Jaguar Cricket Academy by 6 runs, while SCA XI secured a convincing 8-wicket win over GCA Blue.
First Match
YCC, winning the toss and opting to bat, posted a score of 167 for 9 wickets in 20 overs. Piyush led the innings with a crucial 56 runs, while Aryan Raj from Jaguar Cricket Academy impressed with 4 wickets for 18 runs. In response, Jaguar Cricket Academy managed 161 for 6 in the allotted 20 overs, with AK Rai top-scoring at 44. YCC’s Keshav and Piyush took two wickets each, with Piyush being named the Rize Coaching Player of the Match.
