Patna: The Diamant Cup FIDE Rating Chess Tournament, held at Hotel Diamant Inn on Gola Road, concluded with Sudhir Kumar Sinha from the Department of Posts, Patna, emerging as the champion. The nine-round tournament showcased intense competition, culminating in Sinha securing the top spot with eight points. He was awarded ₹50,000 and boosted his FIDE rating by 19 points.
In the final round, Sudhir Kumar Sinha shared points with Vivek Sharma of Patna but maintained a half-point lead to clinch victory.

Prize Distribution Ceremony
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by All Bihar Chess Association President Diljeet Khanna and Secretary Dharmendra Kumar, who presented cash prizes, trophies, and certificates to the winners. Other notable attendees included former Secretary Ajit Kumar Singh, Vice President Jai Prakash Sinha, Tournament Director Sanjeet Saurabh, Chief Arbiter Nandkishore, and International Chess Judge Arvind Kumar Singh.
International Arbiter Arvind Kumar Singh managed the stage, while tournament convener Shashi Nand Kumar delivered the vote of thanks.
