Patna: The School of Cricket Academy and BPCA triumphed in their respective matches at the Dr Parmeshwar Dayal Memorial Under-13 Inter-School Cricket Tournament, organised by the Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB).
In the first match, the School of Cricket Academy won the toss and chose to field. Sports Square, batting first, were all out for 152 runs in 20.4 overs, with Jayesh contributing a vital 42 runs to their total.
Chasing 153, the School of Cricket Academy cruised to victory, reaching the target in 21.2 overs with just two wickets down. Agastya was the star of the day, scoring a brilliant 80 runs. His all-round performance, including 3 wickets, earned him the Rize Coaching Player of the Match award, presented by Organising Secretary Santosh Tiwari.
In the second match, BPCA batted first after BCCA won the toss and opted to field. BPCA put up a solid total of 144 for 4 wickets in 25 overs, with Abhinav top-scoring with 34 runs. BCCA, in response, struggled to build momentum and were bowled out for 74 runs in 14.3 overs. Arnav’s remarkable bowling performance, taking 5 wickets for just 8 runs, was the highlight of the match, earning him the Rize Coaching Player of the Match award.
