Patna: Roshan Kumar of Bihar Cricket Academy showcased an impressive performance in the Abhishek Memorial Under-16 Cricket Tournament, held under the auspices of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation. His remarkable century helped Bihar Cricket Academy secure a commanding 153-run win over Cosmo United. In a separate match, the School of Cricket triumphed over the Cricket Academy of Bihar by 50 runs.
Bihar Cricket Academy’s Strong Performance
In a match played at the Bihar Cricket Academy located at La Martiniere World School, Sampatchak, the academy won the toss and set a formidable target of 288 runs for 5 wickets in 25 overs. Roshan Kumar led the charge with a stunning unbeaten 124 runs, supported by Ravi Shankar’s half-century of 54 runs. Roshan’s innings included 8 fours and 10 sixes, all made in just 58 balls.
Cosmo United struggled in their response, getting bowled out for 135 runs in 24.1 overs. Their highest contribution came from extras with 31 runs, while Mohammad Sahil added 29 and Avinash Kumar scored 24.
