Patna, June 22: The BCA U-19 Super League match between Rest of Pataliputra Zone and Rest of Shahabad Zone, held at Sadishopur ground in Patna, concluded in a draw. Rest of Pataliputra Zone earned three points for their first innings lead, while Rest of Shahabad Zone gained one point.
Parth of Rest of Pataliputra Zone was named Man of the Match for his composed batting in both innings. Dipesh Gupta also impressed, remaining unbeaten with 74 runs in the second innings.
On the final day, Rest of Shahabad Zone, resuming at 125 for 9, were all out for 130 runs. In their second innings, Rest of Pataliputra Zone declared at 221 for 7 in 50.3 overs, thanks to contributions from Shrimukh (60 runs), Parth (42 runs), and Dipesh Gupta (unbeaten 72 runs).
Chasing a target of 279 runs, Rest of Shahabad Zone managed 141 for 5 in 36 overs. For Rest of Shahabad Zone, Prakash Kumar remained unbeaten with 41 runs, while Harsh Raj and Sant Kumar added 32 and 42 runs respectively. Abhinav of Rest of Pataliputra Zone took 3 wickets.
