Patna’s Harsh and Akash Shine as Muzaffarpur Struggle in BCA Senior Men’s Cricket Tournament

Patna, June 16: In the ongoing three-day match of the BCA Senior Men’s Cricket Tournament Super League at Moinul Haq Stadium, Patna, Patna declared their first innings at a commanding 579 runs for three wickets. Harsh and Akash’s unbeaten centuries bolstered Patna’s score on the second day of play.

Starting the day at 368 for three wickets, Patna’s innings saw no further dismissals before the declaration. Harsh Raj remained unbeaten with an impressive 157 runs (ten fours and seven sixes), while Akash Raj supported with an unbeaten 100 runs (seven fours and one six).

In response, Muzaffarpur struggled, losing wickets at regular intervals. Chandra Prakash (10), Shivam Kumar (4), Aditya Kumar (5), and Vikash Ranjan (20) were among the batsmen dismissed, with opener Ankit Kumar Singh retiring hurt after scoring 44 runs. At the close of play on day two, Atulya Priyankar (9*) and Abhinav Alok (7*) remained at the crease for Muzaffarpur.

Patna’s bowling effort was led by Abhinav, who took 3 wickets, supported by Suraj with one wicket.
