Patna: Selection trials for players to form the Hockey Bihar team for participation in the 2nd Hockey India Junior and Sub Junior East Zone Men Hockey Championship will be held on June 26 and June 27 at Dung-Dung Stadium, BRC Danapur, Patna.
The Junior East Zone Men Hockey Championship is scheduled from July 14 to July 21, 2024, in Kolkata, and the Sub Junior East Zone Men Championship is scheduled from July 24 to July 31, 2024, in Guwahati, Assam.
Eligible players from Bihar state with a date of birth on or after January 1, 2006, for the Junior category and on or after January 1, 2009, for the Sub Junior category can participate in these trials. All players must bring the following documents for participation: a certificate issued by the local body (Panchayat/Municipal Corporation), Aadhar Card, School Bonafide Certificate, and Birth Certificate. Additionally, the Hockey India Registration Form and Age Estimation Form (Medical) will be made available in advance, or players must bring the original copies with them.
For the selection trials, all participating players are required to report to Munindra at Dung-Dung Stadium, BRC Danapur, Patna, on June 26 at 6:30 AM.
A selection committee has been constituted for this selection process. The members of the committee are Manoj Kumar, NIS; Mohd. Iqbal Akhtar; Bhim Kumar; Vikash Kumar Singh; and Nitish Kumar, NIS.
