Lakshya Engitech and Cricket Academy of Bihar Advance to Quarterfinals of Dr Parmeshwar Dayal Memorial U-13 Cricket Tournament

Patna: Lakshya Engitech Cricket Academy and the Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) have secured their places in the quarterfinals of the Dr Parmeshwar Dayal Memorial Under-13 Inter-School Cricket Tournament with convincing victories.

In the first match on Tuesday, 15 October, held at the Cricket Academy of Bihar Ground, YCC Blue won the toss and opted to bat first, managing to score 131 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 25 overs. In response, Lakshya Engitech Cricket Academy chased down the target, scoring 137 runs for 3 wickets in 21.1 overs. Tanjil Mallick played a key role and was named the Rize Coaching Player of the Match. The award was presented by Naveen Kumar, General Secretary of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation.

The second match saw the Cricket Academy of Bihar winning the toss and choosing to bat. They posted a total of 179 runs before being all out in 23.2 overs, with a notable contribution of 50 runs from Shivam. Gaya Youth Cricket Club, in response, was bowled out for 106 runs in 18.2 overs. Ayush Raj’s performance earned him the Rize Coaching Player of the Match award, which was again presented by Naveen Kumar.
