DPS Patna East Hosts Thrilling Inter-School Swimming Competition

Patna: An exciting inter-school swimming competition took place on Saturday at Delhi Public School Patna East, drawing participants from 11 schools across Patna. A total of 146 swimmers from Litera Valley School, GD Goenka, Patna Loyola School, Trinity Global School, Dr. DY Patil, Millennium School, Saint Colonel High School, St. Xavier School, Saint Michael High School, Saint Karen’s Secondary High School, and Delhi Public School Patna East showcased their talents.

The event featured various categories, including 25-meter freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and relay races for junior and senior students, as well as a relay for girls in the open category. The enthusiasm and dedication of the participants were evident throughout the competition.

In the 25-meter freestyle event, Rehan Iman of St. Xavier’s High School clinched first place, with Shrestha Bhardwaj, also from St. Xavier’s High School, taking second place, and Jayant Kumar Singh of Litera Valley School finishing third.

Jayant Kumar Singh also emerged victorious in the 25-meter backstroke event. In the 25-meter breaststroke category, Aarav Bhushan of Delhi Public School Patna East secured first place.

In the Junior Boys category, Delhi Public School Patna East won first place, followed by St. Xavier’s High School in second place, and Litera Valley School in third. In the Girls category, Ishanvi took first place, Aditi Singh claimed second, and Tiya Singh came in third.

Certificates were awarded to all winners by Dr. Rakesh Alfred, Principal of Delhi Public School Patna East. The event was a resounding success, with teachers and spectators cheering on the participants and celebrating their achievements.
