Patna: The players of the host Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) delivered outstanding performances in the matches played on Monday, 7th October, during the Dr Parmeshwar Dayal Memorial Under-13 Inter-School Cricket Tournament. Both CAB teams, Red and Blue, emerged victorious in their respective matches. CAB Red secured a resounding 107-run win over Karuna Cricket Academy A, while the Blue team defeated Karuna Cricket Academy B by 98 runs.
Aniket of the Red team was the standout player, delivering a stellar all-round performance. He scored an unbeaten century and took five wickets, playing a key role in his team’s triumph.
In the first match, CAB Red won the toss and elected to bat, posting a total of 192 runs for 6 wickets in 22 overs, with Aniket contributing an impressive 101 not out. He also shone with the ball, taking five wickets and dismissing Karuna Cricket Academy A for just 85 runs in 20 overs. Aniket was awarded the Rize Coaching Player of the Match by the coach of Karuna Cricket Academy.
In the second match, CAB Blue won the toss and put up a total of 172 runs for 7 wickets in 21 overs, thanks to Prabhakar’s brilliant half-century (72 runs). In response, Karuna Cricket Academy B managed only 74 runs for 9 wickets in 21 overs. Prabhakar was honoured with the Rize Coaching Player of the Match award, presented by TSF Variety Mega Mall CEO Vikas Priyadarshi.
