Patna: Kajal Chaudhary of Bihar has been selected for Miss Universe India. She was crowned the winner in the audition round held at the NIFT campus in Patna. Kajal will now participate in the national competition to represent India, where beauties from every state of the country will compete. This event serves as a platform for young women to advance in their pageant careers.
This is the first time that Bihar is hosting the official state audition for Miss Universe India. The winner of this year’s Bihar State Audition gains direct entry into Miss Universe India 2024. Kajal’s victory in the Bihar State Audition round is seen as a significant milestone for Bihar in the fashion industry, according to fashion experts.
Miss Universe is the largest and most prestigious beauty competition globally, with a rich history of distinguished winners who have made significant impacts worldwide. Notably, Sushmita Sen won the title in 1994, and Lara Dutta in 2000. Both have since become famous personalities in cinema, philanthropy, and business.
After winning the title of Miss Universe India, the titleholders participate in the Miss Universe competition, where contestants from various countries vie for the crown. This program continues to provide a platform for young women to showcase their talents and achieve their dreams on an international stage.
