Patna: The Bihar government is actively working to create a conducive industrial environment in the state. To attract investors, the Department of Industries will organize Bihar Business Connect 2024 in Patna on December 11 and 12, 2024. In the lead-up to this event, meetings with investors are being held in various cities. As part of these efforts, the Bihar Business Connect-Textile Investors Meet will be held in Patna on July 18 and 19 at the Taj City Centre Hotel. This information was shared by Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Industries, Sandeep Paundrik, on his official X handle.
Paundrik announced on X that the Bihar Business Connect-Textile Investors Meet will take place on July 18 and 19 at the new Taj Group Hotel in Patna. Over 50 reputed garment manufacturing companies from across the country are expected to participate.
According to Paundrik’s post, Giriraj Singh, Minister of Textiles for the Government of India, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Textiles, will attend the event to support the state. Many prominent companies are expected to participate.
Regarding the investor meet, Bihar’s Industry Minister, Nitish Mishra, held a review meeting with officials at the Industry Department office. Mishra stated that leading textile companies from across the country will participate in the Textile Investors Meet on July 18 and 19 as part of Bihar Business Connect 2024. This event aims to leverage the immense potential in the textile sector for the benefit of Bihar.
