Patna: In the ongoing Sub Junior National Girls Football Tournament Tier-1 in Malda, West Bengal, Bihar secured a decisive 5-0 victory over Gujarat in their second match today.
Bihar’s triumph was powered by an outstanding performance from Rinki Kumari Chauhan, who scored all five goals in the match. The Bihar team, playing in Group B, will next face Karnataka on 6th September.
The match, held at DSA Ground in Malda, saw Bihar’s players launching a relentless attack from the start. Rinki Kumari Chauhan opened the scoring in the 47th minute. She was in exceptional form during the second half, adding four more goals in the 65th, 83rd, 85th, and 87th minutes.
With today’s goals, Rinki Kumari Chauhan has now scored a total of 8 goals in the two matches played so far, making her the top scorer in the tournament.
