Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Smiles at Picture with Karpuri Thakur During Saran Visit

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was seen smiling when he noticed a picture of himself with renowned socialist leader Karpuri Thakur. On Thursday, the Chief Minister visited Saran district to inaugurate several development projects. His itinerary included stops at Madhaura and Apahar in Amanour, where he unveiled two newly constructed hostels, each with a capacity of 300, on the Polytechnic College campus in Madhaura, as well as a Centre of Excellence at the Government Industrial Training Institute.

Security was tight in Madhaura to ensure the smooth arrival of the Chief Minister. Later, his convoy reached Amanour, where he visited the Amrit Sarovar and planted saplings as part of an environmental initiative. Upon arriving in Madhaura, he was greeted by Saran District Magistrate Aman Sameer with a bouquet of flowers. The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for several other projects during his visit.

CM Nitish Kumar’s visit to Saran lasted for about an hour to an hour and a half, during which he inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for various development schemes. Prominent leaders from both the BJP and JDU were in attendance, including BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Chhapra MLA Dr CN Gupta, Amnour MLA Mantu Singh, and Taraiya MLA Janak Singh.

The Chief Minister arrived in Madhaura at 11:05 am before proceeding to Amnour and then Apahar. During his visit, he distributed cheques to beneficiaries of government welfare schemes. He also inspected Hari Ji High School in Aphar, evaluating the condition of the institution and discussing the findings with relevant officials. By 12:10 pm, CM Nitish Kumar departed for Patna.
