Bihar Cambridge Cricket Academy Triumph in Last-Over Thriller Against SPS CCC

Patna: Bihar Cambridge Cricket Academy clinched a dramatic one-wicket victory over SPS CCC in the Chandramani Prasad Singh Memorial Under-14 Cricket Tournament, held at the Bihar Cricket Academy Ground on the La Martiniere World School Campus, Sampatchak. Prince Gupta’s all-round brilliance earned him the Player of the Match award.

Batting first, SPS CCC put up a respectable total of 162 for 7 wickets in their allotted 25 overs. Sahil anchored the innings with a well-made 42, supported by Lucky Raj (21) and Vaibhav (12*). Extras contributed significantly, adding 41 runs to the total. Bihar Cambridge Cricket Academy bowlers, led by Prince Gupta (3/13), kept the scoring in check, with Munna Kumar (1/9) and Umang Raj (1/8) also delivering economical spells.

In reply, Bihar Cambridge Cricket Academy chased the target with grit, reaching 163 for 9 in 19.3 overs. Nehal Raj top-scored with a composed 50, while Harshit Raj (27) and Umang Raj (23) provided valuable contributions. Animesh of SPS CCC impressed with a five-wicket haul (5/24), but his efforts fell short of defending the target.
