Patna: Asha Baba Cricket Academy delivered a commanding performance to defeat Learning School of Cricket by 72 runs in the Baidyanath Prasad Memorial Under-13 Inter-School Cricket Tournament on Wednesday, 11 December. The match was held at the Cricket Academy of Bihar under the auspices of the Baidyanath Prasad Foundation.
Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Learning School of Cricket struggled to contain Asha Baba Cricket Academy’s batsmen. Harshit (59 runs) and Yash (56 runs) led the charge with impressive half-centuries, helping their team post a formidable total of 214 runs for 7 wickets in 21 overs.
Chasing 215, Learning School of Cricket faltered despite a valiant unbeaten knock of 44 runs by Bhavishya Kumar. The team could only manage 142 runs for 8 wickets in 21 overs, falling well short of the target.
