Anubhav’s Stellar 147 Propels Rest of Shahabad Zone to 382 Against Purnia in BCA U-19 Super League

Patna: In the BCA U-19 Super League match at Sadishopur ground, the Rest of Shahabad Zone, batting first after winning the toss, posted a formidable total of 382 runs in 87.1 overs against Purnia, thanks to Anubhav Singh’s brilliant 147. Purnia’s Anuj Madhyam was the standout bowler, claiming six wickets. By the end of the first day’s play, Purnia had scored 12 runs for the loss of one wicket.

Anubhav Singh’s innings featured 20 fours and one six, scored off 161 balls. Other significant contributions came from Prakash Kumar (78 runs), Vishal Kumar (43 runs), Devansh Ashwal (41 runs), and Sant Kumar Singh (30 runs).

In addition to Anuj’s six-wicket haul, Amir Masood took three wickets, and Md Sajid took one for Purnia.

Purnia’s innings got off to a shaky start with opening batsman Moksh Raj being bowled by Aryan Patel for one run off 11 balls. At the close of play, Abu Bakar was unbeaten on 10 runs, while Sumit Pal had yet to score.
