Patna, June 16: The All India Ranking Under-16 Tennis Championship is set to commence at the Naseeb Sports Academy Ground from June 17, organized under the banner of the Bihar Lawn Tennis Association and hosted by Naseeb Sports Academy.
Satish Prasad, the Tennis Head and Director of the tournament at Naseeb Sports Academy, announced that the championship will run from June 17 to June 21. He expressed gratitude to Akhouri Vishwadeep, Honorary Secretary, and Akhouri Vishwapriya, Joint Secretary of the Bihar Lawn Tennis Association, for entrusting the academy with the hosting responsibilities. This event is part of the championship series level tournaments.
All main draw participants will receive valuable national ranking points based on their performance, adhering to the guidelines of the All India Tennis Association.
Players from Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Delhi, Karnataka, Telangana, and Bihar will compete in this event. Satish Prasad and Tournament Referee Rohit Kumar informed that the first round matches will begin on Monday, June 17, 2024, starting at 6:00 am.
